The ability to effectively communicate is central to succeeding personally and professionally. While we know this, it may still feel like it’s challenging to confidently and comfortably craft a compelling vision and get others on board with that vision.
This is critical to your success. Crafting a compelling vision and communicating that vision is a key component to getting further in life. After all no one accomplished a big goal alone.
Today’s affirmation is designed to remind you that you are an excellent communicator. You have the skills you need to create a powerful vision for yourself and to get others excited about that vision:
I am articulate and have excellent communication skills.
Communication is an important part of life. I have the necessary communication skills to be incredibly successful. I have the necessary experience and expertise to communicate with anyone, at any time, and in any circumstance.
Before I say anything important, I consider my words carefully. Taking this time allows me to choose the right words and express myself clearly and coherently.
I am free of any apprehension when it comes to communicating with others. I have a high degree of confidence and comfort.
I become more articulate each day. I always know what to say and how to say it. Even in challenging situations, I am able to make intelligent communication decisions. I communicate clearly and pleasantly. Others enjoy listening to me speak and value my opinions.
Occasionally, I might communicate poorly. I realize that people are forgiving and that occasional mistakes only have a minimal effect. I can easily rectify the situation and get the communication back on track. However, I communicate extremely well the majority of the time.
I have excellent listening skills. I realize that communicating also includes hearing the messages of others. I enjoy listening to others share their thoughts and ideas. I consider what I have heard before I respond.
Self-Reflection Questions:
1. What can I do to enhance my communication skills?
2. Am I listening to others as well as I could be?
3. With whom do I most need to communicate?
Today, I am feeling especially articulate. The words just seem to flow automatically from my mouth to my listeners’ ears. I am listening intently and communicating fully. I take fully responsibility for all of my communications.
Do you see yourself as a leader? Many times we don’t see ourselves as leaders but the truth is every one of us is a leader. What if you viewed leadership simply as your ability to encourage, excite, or to simply provide the right tools at the right time to help someone achieve a goal.
Perhaps leadership for you may be a simple act of giving and receiving respect. Would changing the way you define leadership, change the way you see yourself? You are already a leader. Are you ready to see yourself that way?
Today’s affirmation is designed to help you embrace and unleash the confident and competent leader within:
I am a confident and competent leader.
Being a great leader is easy for me. People comfortably take my direction and have confidence in my leadership. I enjoy being a leader and do so confidently and competently.
I make the best of every occasion to lead others. I enjoy learning how to be a better leader and seek out opportunities to better my skills. I like being in charge and feel confident in my abilities.
Being a leader can be challenging, but I am up for that challenge. I care about others, and people can sense this. Other individuals respect me and seek out my opinion in challenging times. People look to me for guidance and leadership.
I have great confidence in my ability to lead. My confidence is infectious. Others are more confident simply by being in my presence.
I pay attention and listen to those that I lead. Communication is an important part of the leadership dynamic. I have excellent communication skills that enhance my leadership talents. I enjoy listening to the ideas of others.
I have the necessary charisma to lead people. My groups are harmonious and productive. I can lead a group to any goal in a timely fashion. I equate leadership with achieving results. I get things done and others enjoy being part of that process.
Self-Reflection Questions:
1. What can I do today to become a better leader?
2. Who is the best leader I know personally?
3. What do I need to learn about leadership that will boost my confidence in my leadership abilities?
Today, I feel even more confident about my leadership skills. I am learning more about how to be a competent leader. I seek out every chance to hone my leadership abilities.
“Intuition means exactly what it sounds like, in-tuition! An inner tutor or teaching and learning mechanism that takes us forward daily. It is a resource that, where recognized, has infinite potential.”
― Sylvia Clare
How many decisions did you make in the past 12 months that were based on the things you ‘should’ be doing?
Sometimes it becomes easy to allow external demands to dictate the actions we take.
One of the most powerful shifts you can make is to learn to tune into that internal voice each of us has that often contains the clues to what you really should do. It’s this journey towards learning to trust yourself again that leads to greater fulfillment and real and lasting happiness and wholeness.
Today’s affirmation is designed to help you do just that – learn how to listen to yourself again and drown out the noise around you.
I trust my intuition to guide me.
My intuition is always available to guide me, if I am willing to listen. My inner light is the purest form of my soul. It gently shows me the way.
I have a high level of intuition. My intuition is the manifestation of my wisdom. It is always right. It speaks in a soft voice, but I can hear it if I truly open myself up to it.
Sometimes reason and logic are great tools for making decisions. Other times, intuition is a better tool. When I have all the information I need, yet still feel lost, I look beyond logic and reason.
Today, I listen carefully to the guidance of my internal knowing and intuition. I am making good and wise decisions.
Whenever I am confused about a choice, I acknowledge the messages that my intuition are sending me.
By following those messages, the odds of making a good decision skyrocket.
My intuition exist to serve me. I make full use of the guidance that they provide. I get better and better at using these tools each and every day.
Self-Reflection Questions:
Having these sources of guidance makes my life easier. By making proactive decisions, I use my time more effectively. The number of mistakes I make is vastly minimized. I supercharge my success by listening to my inner knowing and intuition.
