As a former real estate developer in the Nashville area, my life had been full of professional success.Then the economic crisis a few years ago yanked the rug out from under me; I soon found myself working 70 hours a week, running my company without taking any income. On top of that, my husband and I had decided to sell our large home and build a smaller one. This was in 2008 when the real estate market was drastically sliding downhill, and we ended up with two hefty mortgages—and I had no income. The financial burden was difficult, but perhaps even more disheartening was the fact I could not compete my hunter/jumper in the winter of 2009 and showing my horse has always been one of my greatest joys.
Fortunately, in April 2009 a good friend shared a new business opportunity with me and I paid attention. This new business was network marketing and it was brand new to me, but I saw the potential to be involved with a company created by two of the world’s most renowned Dermatologists who had been very successful in another venture. They first created the number one selling acne regimen in the world, and their new company addresses aging skin, sun damage and sensitive skin. I learned what I needed to do and shared the business and the products with everyone, my life began to change. Dramatically.

Not only did my life change, so did the lives of hundreds of others. From other successful professionals in Nashville to struggling single mothers, I witnessed firsthand what independent ownership and a partnership in this business model can do for people. By putting in a few focused hours a week, people have been able to make a monthly car payment, move to a larger home, pay unexpected medical bills, leave jobs that had made it impossible to attend their children’s school and sports activities, provide additional income for retirement, and even help pay for their aging parents’ expenses.
Here are just a few real-life examples of people in our organization whose lives have been transformed through this remarkable business:
- A single mother’s income as a realtor crashed along with the housing market; she lost
her home and was forced to withdraw her children from private school. Today she not
only earns over six figures a month—her son has learned to “give back” and declined a
college scholarship so a student “who really needs it” could have it.
- A friend of mine who owns her own business found that it actually owned her, and it
kept her from experiencing her young son’s important milestones. Now she never

- Huge success working with celebrities was part of this realtor’s life—until the economy
made an abrupt change for her. She joined our company to supplement that loss of
income. Today she is earning a six-figure annual residual income working just part-time
hours with us, while maintaining her real estate business. Now, because of this side
income, she can choose the hours, and with whom, she wants to work.
Situations like these, more than anything else, are what bring me joy and purpose as I continue to help others succeed and reach for new goals.
My belief is that everyone deserves success and happiness. Life is just too unpredictable and sometimes too short to wait for the “good life.” Meeting people, listening to their needs and desires, and then helping them devise a plan to make those desires a reality is what my life is all about these days. I won’t tell you that it is easy to reach every goal you imagine, but I will tell you that amazing things can happen when you believe in yourself, work hard, persevere and never let the word “No” stop you. You are worth it.
This business has taught me a great deal—mostly what is really important in life. With my success I have been able to support women’s causes dear to my heart and help women who are struggling get back on their feet, be proud of themselves and enjoy happy, productive lives. This is just the beginning of making a difference in such a big way, I have much bigger plans on the horizon.
In less than two and a half years, working mostly part-time, I replaced my six-figure income and it just keeps growing. I focus on showing people how they can change their lives and their families’ lives and help them imagine what “could be” and how they can reach their goals, whether it’s simply creating a little extra income to help out with the bills or developing a new and highly successful career.
